Dafne Keen (Logan), Samantha Lorraine (Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado) and Alexander Ludwig (Hunger Games) are currently starring in “Night Comes”, a survival horror thriller marking the feature directorial debut of actor Jay Hernandez (Suicide Squad).
Hailing from Impossible Dream Entertainment, Big Picture Cinema Group and Gold Star Productions, the film unfolds against the backdrop of a cataclysmic event that threatens to engulf humanity. Two sisters manage to escape the horror only to find themselves thrust into a perilous struggle for survival. Written by Hernandez, Jason Bourque and Nancy Isaak, the film draws inspiration from such popular genre titles as Birdbox and The Descent. Impossible Dream partners Shaun Redick (Get Out, Day Shift) and Yvette Yates Redick (Day Shift, upcoming Lost & Found in Cleveland) are producing alongside Big Picture Cinema Group partners Jayce Barriero and Jacky Lai with Goldstar’s Jason Bourque and Ken Frith serving as exec producers. Official production has begun in Vancouver BC.

The family-friendly horror movie, starring Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase, has opened nation-wide, playing exclusively in movie theatres. In the film, directed by Peter Lepeniotis, Amy (Madi Monroe) and Mike (Marlon Kazadi) uncover a centuries-old secret when they decide to watch an exclusive film reel. Before they know it, their town has been turned to the undead before their eyes. The duo must track down an infamous filmmaker (Dan Akroyd) and navigate a town of hungry zombies to break the curse before it’s too late. Gold Star Productions is proud to be part of the development team alongside Look Out Entertainment and Toonz Media.
