Gold Star Productions is excited to announce that “Music for Mandela” has won the Audience Choice Award at the Amnesty International Film Festival – Vancouver. Congratulations to the entire production team including the wonderful crews in South Africa!

We are pleased to announce that, “Music for Mandela” has been selectied to be screened at the Amnesty International Film Festival – Vancouver on October 19th, 2013.

A panel of volunteer judges, view and review between 75 and 150 independent films and documentaries from March to July, eventually screening only a handful in the fall. The selected pieces are those the judges believe to be most effective in rendering viewers emotionally affected and intellectually challenged, in the words of festival organizer Donald Wright, to take action against the social injustice and human suffering the movies showcase.
